Tell us a little about yourself:
I'm 51 years old, have 5 kids (Ryan, 26 works in radio and lives in Moscow, Idaho; Callie is 25, lives and works in Boise, Idaho and has two terrific sons, Blake is 6 and Jacoby is 4; Nick is 24, lives in Isle something or other near Quebec, Canada and has an amazing son born on my birthday, Niko who is 4; Nicole is 24, lives and works in Boise, Idaho, and has a wonderful son Kaden who is 3; Bailey is 16, lives at home in Woodland Hills with her Mother and me, and is a sophomore at El Camino Real High School) - have been married for almost 19 years (7/2/88) to Karen. We met and married in Fresno, California, where we were both part of the morning show on a Country Radio station. We've lived all over the US doing radio and the music business...from Fresno to Dallas, TX, then to Nashville, TN, then Harrisburg, PA and to Karen's hometown Boise, Idaho. My job there with Jacor/Clear Channel Radio led to my being transferred to L.A., initially to work with Rick Dees national morning show. While with Clear Channel, I created and launched many radio stations including 7 on XM Satellite Radio, then KLAC/Fabulous 570/690 in Los Angeles. I programmed and hosted the morning show on KLAC, and when the station was sold, we started The Standard Media Group and MartiniInTheMorning with a goal of getting "OUR MUSIC" back on the radio here in L.A. and across the country. I've met some of the most amazing people working in this format. I love the music and the people who love the music.
