Tell us a little about yourself: Born and raised in Norway. My Dad had a big band while I was growing up and toured locally. My parents played standards and jazz in the house all the time - fell in love with this music at a very young age (actually while still in the womb!) Moved from Norway to CA in 1977, had a family - two girls, now 26 & 27, graduated from college and both smart & pretty! The love of my life is my granddaughter Alyssa (7) and I play Raul Malo and standards to her to get her to appreciate good music at a young age, like my parents did to me. None of that hip-hop/rap stuff for Alyssa - no way - over my dead body!
