I moved to Alabama in 2004 after 24 years in Los Angeles (Playa del Rey...to be specific...also known as the "Town Without Pity"). I was an avid listener to the Fabulous 570/690 during its tenure and cried shamelessly when it went off the air. Thanks for keeping this music alive. I've been listening, almost exclusively, to this style of music for over 25 years since I was a "kid", and my friends were listening to Devo...they said it was "music by dead people". Personally, I think we're the only ones living!
