Films/Television:
The Wizard of Oz - Cinema Paradisio, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - Love in the Time of Cholera - Anything with John Wayne - He is and always will be my favorite actor. Bonnie Hunt Show (2:00 pm on NBC in Chicago - only show during the day I make sure I'm home for) sadly they are taking off the air - WHAT IS NBC THINKING?, Dancing With The Stars, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, anything entertaining and will make me laugh.

Favorite Books:
It takes a lot for me to read a book all the way through. Love to read magazines and newspapers. Just finished "Who's The Dummy Now" by Terry Fator (Ventroloquist that was on the TV show America's Got Talent and Winner!) which I voted for 10 times. Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. A woman's journey who is in her 30's, gets divorced and then takes a year (4 months in each country) living in Italy, India and Indonesia - very fascinating! I wish I could take a year doing that!!!! Chicago Tribune, Fra Noi (Italian Magazine). If something catches my eye, I'm all over it!!!!

The second oldest of 5 children. Parents both Italian-Americans. My Mom's family from Ancona, Roma and my Dad's family from Scisciano, Napoli. Both parents born in Chicago, Illinois. My father was a prisioner of War in WWII and survivor of the Bataan Death March. There is a movie "BACK TO BATAAN" with John Wayne and Anthony Quinn and my Dad is at the end of the movie with other survivors of the Bataan Death March. Passed away October 4th, 2008. Was the only HERO in my life.
My Mom, Brother and Dad have passed on, but remain in our hearts and prayers.

Only 4 girls left in our family. My older sister Richetta (Ricky) and I live together. One sister Anita in Santa Fe, New Mexico and my other sister Regina in Corvallis, Oregon. Check out Regina's Iovino's Cucina and Ristorante, 1835 S.E. 3rd Street, Corvallis, OR 97333-1729. Visit her website at www.iovinos.com
She is considered one of the best restaurants in Corvallis. You will not be disappointed.

Thank God for many friends and relatives that support us throughout all trials and tribulations. Many cousins in Italy, Panama and throughout the United States. Love to get together for holidays with our relatives in the immediate area.

Play the accordion. Started when I was 5 years old. My Dad put my name in a raffle for 6 free lessons and I won!!! In the 50's this was the instrument to play. In the 60's the Beatles came and many accordions ended up in closets. You probably can always see one or two at a garage sale!!!! Wanted to always play the piano. Took lessons when I was attending Catholic School with one of our nuns. She advised me to "STICK WITH THE ACCORDION" (fingers too short for stretches on the piano). The best advice anyone ever gave me. Sister???? Thank you for being so honest!!!!!

If it was not for Tina Wilson in Irvine, California, I would have never found Martini in the Morning!!! Thank you Tina from the bottom of my heart. The MUSIC continues to be in my life on a daily basis and for that I am most grateful!!!!!

Welcome
